Apple & Barley Bake

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175C.

  2. Place barley and 3 cups of water into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Simmer for approximately 35 minutes until tender. Drain.

  3. Add apples, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon to barley.

  4. Pour into lightly greased 5 cup capacity ovenproof dish.

  5. Dot with butter, cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
